Red Mountain Cabins ("we," "us") operates redmountaincabins.com, the direct booking site for our two cabins near Mt. Baker, Washington. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it. The short version: we collect your email or mobile number only when you give it to us, we use it to send you what we promised, and we don't sell it to anyone.

What we collect

• Email address — when you submit one of our forms (the free Mt. Baker Insider Guide, the SAVE10 offer, or saving a cabin). We also record which form you used and the page you were on, so we send you the right thing.
• Mobile phone number — only if you enter it and check the consent box yourself on our text messages page. We also record the date and time you consented, the wording you agreed to, and the IP address you consented from, because carrier rules require us to keep that record.
• Booking details — bookings are processed by Hospitable, whose secure checkout is embedded in our booking pages. Payment details are handled by Hospitable's payment processor and never touch this website. A phone number entered at checkout is used only as reservation contact information — it is never enrolled in our SMS program, which has exactly one opt-in: the chat signup on our text messages page.
• Basic technical data — our host, Cloudflare, processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type) to serve and protect the site.

How we use it

• To deliver the guide, discount code, or saved-cabin link you requested.
• To send occasional emails about the cabins — last-minute openings, powder alerts, and local guides (about one a month). Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing always works.
• To respond when you contact us.

Your email is stored in our customer-relationship platform (GoHighLevel). We never sell or rent your information.

SMS / Text Messaging

Red Mountain Cabins collects mobile phone numbers for the purpose of sending SMS text messages. By opting in through our website chat widget, you consent to receive text messages from Red Mountain Cabins, including booking confirmations, check-in instructions, and guest support messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell, share, or rent your mobile phone number to third parties for marketing purposes. We collect mobile phone numbers from guests who opt in, and we use those numbers to send SMS text messages under our Red Mountain Cabins Guest Texts program: booking confirmations, check-in instructions and door codes, replies to your questions (guest support), and — only if you agree to it separately — occasional notices about last-minute openings and special offers at our two cabins. Consent is never pre-selected for you, and consenting to texts is never required in order to book or to use this site.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Put plainly: we do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your consent to receive texts from Red Mountain Cabins applies only to us — it is never transferred, sold, or assigned to any other business.

Who we share information with

We share your information only with the service providers that operate this business on our behalf, and only so they can perform that service for us: Hospitable (bookings and guest messaging), GoHighLevel (our customer-relationship platform and message delivery), and Cloudflare (hosting and bot protection). We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with advertisers, marketing partners, affiliates, or lead generators.

Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which verifies you're a human without showing a CAPTCHA. Turnstile processes limited device and network information for that purpose. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Cookies & local storage

We don't run advertising trackers. The site uses your browser's local storage for small conveniences only — remembering a cabin you saved and not re-showing a popup you dismissed. Embedded services (the booking widget, Google Maps, Turnstile) may set their own cookies governed by their privacy policies.
