These terms govern your use of redmountaincabins.com and our text-messaging program. Red Mountain Cabins is a vacation rental business operated by Thomas and Amanda Mutchler, renting two cabins near Mt. Baker in Whatcom County, Washington. You can reach us any time at [email protected].

SMS Text Messaging Terms

By opting in to receive text messages from Red Mountain Cabins, you agree to these SMS Terms. Red Mountain Cabins sends informational SMS text messages including booking confirmations, check-in details, and guest support notifications. Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. Message and data rates may apply. To cancel, reply STOP at any time. To get help, reply HELP. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. For support contact [email protected].

The program

Red Mountain Cabins Guest Texts is our text-message program for guests and prospective guests of Red Mountain Cabins. If you opt in, we send informational text messages about your booking and stay — booking confirmations, answers to your questions, check-in instructions and door codes — and, if you separately agree to it, occasional notices about last-minute openings and special offers at our cabins. We text only about our own two cabins. We never text on behalf of anyone else.

How you opt in

You opt in by entering your mobile number yourself through the text-signup chat on our text messages page and affirmatively agreeing to receive texts. Consent is never pre-selected for you, and consent to receive texts is never required to book a stay, submit a form, or use any part of this site.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies; up to 4 messages per month.

Cost

We don't charge you for these messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help. You can cancel the SMS service at any time — just reply STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send us STOP, we will send one reply confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and after that we will not send you any more texts. If you want to join again, sign up the way you did the first time and we will start sending messages to you again.

If you are having trouble with the messaging program, reply HELP to any message from us, or email us directly at [email protected].

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier's network and on your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message arrives.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of, or authorized to use, the mobile number you give us.

Privacy

If you have any questions about privacy, please read our Privacy Policy. In short: we do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Bookings

Reservations made here are processed by Hospitable, our booking provider. The rates, fees, cancellation terms, and house rules shown in the booking calendar at the time you book are the terms of your reservation. Payment is handled by Hospitable's payment processor; card details never touch this website.

Both cabins are non-smoking and have a strict no-pets policy. Additional house rules are listed on each cabin's page and are part of your reservation.

Promotional codes

Discount codes we offer, including SAVE10, apply to direct bookings made on this site, are subject to the conditions stated where the code is offered (SAVE10 requires a stay of two nights or more), cannot be combined with other length-of-stay discounts, have no cash value, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

Using this site

The photographs, written guides, and other content on this site belong to us; please don't republish them without asking. We work to keep trail conditions, drive times, road closures, and business hours accurate and we date-stamp our guides, but conditions in the mountains change constantly — verify anything safety-critical with the Forest Service, WSDOT, or the ski area before you rely on it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above always reflects the current version, and material changes to the messaging program will be described here.
