Hot Stuff is a takeout pizza counter inside the Mobil station on Kendall Road, and we recommend it as exactly that: cheap, hot, and close. Whole pies and personal pizzas mostly come in under $10 a person, and one Google review sums up the consensus — ‘Delicious pizza & great price.’ When you roll back from the mountain late and nobody wants to cook, it’s five minutes from the Little Red Cabin and about eighteen from the Black Cedar.

The catch is hours. The host store — Starvin’ Sam’s #15, the Kendall Market Mobil — runs 5am to 10pm, 11 on Friday and Saturday, but the pizza counter’s own hours aren’t published anywhere reliable, and the store being open doesn’t mean the oven is on. Call before you promise anyone dinner.
