Kendall Market
Mobil station and convenience store on Kendall Rd, open early to late, pizza inside

Kendall Market is the Mobil station and convenience store on Kendall Road, about a mile off the highway. Locals still call it Starvin’ Sam’s, and the pumps have cycled through BP, 76, and Valero signs over the years, so don’t let the branding confuse you. It’s the early-and-late stop out here: Mobil’s locator lists it open 5am to 10pm daily, 11pm on Friday and Saturday, with a convenience store and fuel including diesel. Reviewers add the hot food, snacks, and staples — and the Hot Stuff Pizza takeout counter shares the building.
Two clarifications we give guests. This is a top-up stop, not a provisioning run — Crossroads Grocery at the Maple Falls crossroads is the real grocery up here. And on fuel: the Maple Fuels station in Maple Falls is the farthest-up gas before the mountain, so Kendall is your backup, not your last chance. Nothing sells gas past Maple Falls — the full rundown is in our Glacier services guide.
One naming collision worth knowing: ‘Kendall Market’ is also the Saturday farmers market at the North Fork Library, essentially across the road at 7506 Kendall Rd. Twin Sisters runs it, Saturdays 9am to 3pm in season, with local produce, eggs, pasture-raised meats, and flowers. If a local tells you to hit Kendall Market on a Saturday, that’s probably the one they mean.
